OUR WORK
The Kenya Permanent Mission to UN-Habitat is mandated by the Government of Kenya to perform diplomatic, representational and
multilateral duties pertaining to human settlement matters. The Mission represents Kenya’s interests within the UN system by working closely with
United Nations Human Settlements, key stakeholders and other Member States to build inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable Cities and
Communities in Kenya and beyond.
Our Mission
Kenya Permanent Mission to UN-Habitat seeks to advance and promote the interests of Kenya in respect to negotiations on substantive human
settlement matters and governance aspects of UN-Habitat.

Chief Executive Officer

Stuart has long leadership and management experience in the aviation and aviation training industry. His experience includes turnaround management, developing and implementing major cost and organizational reduction programs, mergers, developing new commercial initiatives for a major airline (SAS), developed new strategic initiatives for major aviation training centres.

Other qualifications and experience include several board positions for both start-up and well-established companies, general manager for start-up companies, pedagogical training, and Airline Captain for Sky Team.

Chief Operating Officer

Joshy is a highly experienced Aircraft Maintenance professional with UK CAA, UAE GCAA and Oman CAA B2 licenses multi-rated on Airbus A320, A330, A340, A380 and Boeing B767, B777 airframe and its engines. Joshy brings with him more than 40 years of aviation experience, of which he has 12 years with Naval Aviation and more than 28 years with Etihad Airways Engineering, the biggest MRO in Middle East, carrying out maintenance on multiple airline aircrafts and executing major modification projects on aircraft systems. Joshy has a broad technical understanding of Avionics maintenance procedures; he is also an expert in troubleshooting and repairing Avionics components.

Joice Thomas

Joice Thomas

Head of Flights

Joice is an expert professional Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a high degree of technical knowledge and manual dexterity, holding EASA, UK CAA and UAE GCAA B1 & C licenses specializing in Airbus A330, A340 and Boeing B777, B787 airframe and its engines. Joice has an extensive maintenance experience of more than 29 years, bringing a wealth of engineering and technical knowledge, with expertise in defect rectification and maintenance of aircrafts. Joice has an impeccable track record in timely and accurate maintenance and repair of aircrafts. He is highly knowledgeable about all aspects of aircraft systems and proficient in relevant safety and quality regulations. Joice has the experience and skillsets required to lead PLATAPRIME in its continued growth and success.

Anand Hamdi

Anand Hamdi

Standards and Compliance Director

Anand has built up over 20 years in the aviation industry, the last 14 of which have been with Plataprime. During the course of his career, he has risen to become Head of the Department for Ramp operations in 2012 and, within two years, to Standards and Compliance Director. In this role he led various departments including Health, Safety, Security & Compliance, Ramp and Operations. Since 2019, Anand has been in Dubai leading the Operations Department. He brings with him an exceptional breadth of experience across all ground handling operations.
